CARE GUIDE

Icelandic wool rarely needs washing and can easily be freshened up by letting it hang outside in the fresh air, but if you still wish to wash it, do so by hand and with lukewarm water and special wool soap. Let it soak in the water for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse it with clean water (DO NOT rub it or wring it, INSTEAD gently squeeze it to get as much water out as possible). To dry your piece, do not hang it as the weight of the water could stretch the wool, and instead, lay it flat on a towel. Do not use a dryer machine as the garment will shrink.
